Where they were

Where they were before we got involved

National Grid's Great Grid Upgrade is a major national programme focused on upgrading the electricity transmission network across England and Wales. As part of the campaign, National Grid needed content that could help connect a large scale infrastructure story with the places and communities across the country. Through our existing work with Skegness Pleasure Beach, Sinarchie Media had captured high quality footage showcasing one of Lincolnshire's most recognisable coastal attractions.

The objective

The requirement was simple: provide National Grid with relevant, professional footage that could represent Skegness and the Lincolnshire coast within its wider national campaign. The content needed to feel authentic to the area while being of a quality suitable for use within a major national communications campaign.

What we did

We supplied selected footage from our filming at Skegness Pleasure Beach for National Grid to incorporate into The Great Grid Upgrade campaign.

What happened

Our footage went from showcasing a local Lincolnshire attraction to forming part of a national campaign for one of the UK's largest infrastructure organisations. For Sinarchie Media, it was a great example of locally created content being trusted for use on a national stage, and it demonstrates that the value of strong content does not necessarily end when the original campaign does.
