Anyone can make you a video. We work out why anyone would care.

Every buying decision is emotional first and justified afterwards. Most marketing gets that backwards, leading with features and hoping the feeling turns up later.

We start with the decision itself. Who buys from you, what they are really weighing up, and what would tip them. Then we work out what to make.

The Sinarchie Ladder

Nobody goes from stranger to customer in one step.

Four stages. Most businesses are stuck at one of them without knowing which.

People
Strangers

They have never heard of you. Right now they are buying from someone else, and it is nothing personal. The job is being seen by the right ones, not all of them.

What does the work: Paid advertising, Google Ads, Meta Ads

Fans
They choose to follow

They have seen you and decided you are worth watching. This is the stage most businesses skip, and it is why their advertising does not work.

What does the work: Video production, photography, podcasts, branding

Customers
They buy

They have decided you are worth the money. The job here is not creating desire, it is removing every reason not to act.

What does the work: Websites, landing pages, offers, retargeting

Lifetime customers
They stay, and they tell people

They come back without being sold to again, and they bring others with them. A customer who returns three times is worth more than three new ones.

What does the work: Social media management, content creation, email, reputation

What would it cost you to employ a marketing team?

The big figure below is not our price. It is what employing these people would cost you. Our retainer is the smaller figure in the yellow panel.

Our assumptions, in the open. Employer National Insurance is 15% on earnings above the £5,000 secondary threshold, the 2025/26 rates which are held until April 2028. The £10,500 Employment Allowance is deducted only if these would be your first employees, because a business that already has staff has normally used it already. Pension is the 3% employer minimum on qualifying earnings between £6,240 and £50,270. Equipment is annualised over three years. Recruitment is estimated at 18% of salary in the first year only.

What we have not counted. Management time, sick cover, and the months a vacancy sits open. Nor the 5.6 weeks of statutory holiday each person takes, which is roughly a tenth of the year when that role produces nothing. The real gap is wider than the number above.
