Inspiring the next generation.
National Trust. A collaboration with local schools, designed to give young people the opportunity to engage with the National Trust and learn more about the world around them.
Sinarchie Media supplied the National Trust with content for its schools collaboration, providing strategy, video production and photography.
Where they were
Where they were before we started.
The National Trust was working on a collaboration with local schools, designed to give young people the opportunity to engage with the organisation and learn more about the world around them. The project had a clear purpose: to inspire the younger generation and create meaningful experiences that could spark curiosity, learning and new interests. Our role was to capture that story and turn the activity happening on the day into engaging digital content.
The objective
The focus was not simply to document a school visit. The content needed to communicate why the collaboration mattered, capturing the enthusiasm of the students, the knowledge being shared and the value of giving younger generations opportunities to learn through real experiences. It also needed to feel completely in keeping with the National Trust brand: educational, authentic, people focused and connected to its wider purpose.
What we did
Our approach was centred around capturing the project naturally as it happened. Rather than heavily staging the content, we focused on the interactions between the National Trust team and the students, documenting moments of discovery, participation and learning. On location filming, student and staff interactions, behind the scenes footage, educational activities, photography and short form video content designed to showcase the collaboration across digital channels.
